Many
people prefer taking baths to showers.
And while studies show conflicting information on whether showers or
baths use up more water, we can all agree that using less is not only more
sustainable but in the best interest of everyone.
Designers
Seung Hyun Lee, il Woone Jwa, Bom Yi Lee and Jiwon Moon re-evaluated the typical design approach of
the bathtub designed desiring a way for water consumption to be reduced with
each use and in response, designed the water-saving body wash called the
Multifunctional Bathtub.
While existing bathtub models require the whole tub to be filled in order to soak specific parts of the body, the Multifunctional Bathtub has a unique tilt feature allows for less water to be used than traditional styles, while not sacrificing on the experience a full tub of water would provide. Depending on the tilt positions, up to 80% of water could be saved with each use!
